Natural gas prices for Europe will equal $350-400 per thousand cubic meters, deputy head of Gazprom Expert Company Sergei Chelpanov has predicted. The average price of a thousand cubic meters has been around $460-520 in 2008.

Nevertheless, in 2008, Gazprom may gain $75-77 billion from supplying natural gas to Europe and overall gains of the company may reach $100 billion, which equals approximately to the company’s total capitalization, the expert has noted.
